Steering Committee

The LMU WSCUC Steering Committee (SC) commenced its work in August 2022, meeting bi-weekly for one-hour during the academic years of 2022-2023 and 2023-2024, and will conclude in fall 2024 following the accreditation visit on campus.

The SC will oversee, coordinate, and ensure successful completion of all aspects of LMU’s reaffirmation of accreditation process. The group’s charge includes the following activities:

  • Become familiar with the timeline, key phases, and milestones associated with the WSCUC accreditation process;
  • Provide feedback on project and communication plans, as well as draft documents;
  • Contribute to the identification, development, and promotion of institutional themes that will be central in our reaffirmation effort;
  • Serve on a theme-specific subcommittee related to your expertise and/or area of interest;
  • Engage broad campus and college/school participation in the reaffirmation of accreditation process;
  • Participate in campus preparations for the accreditation visit in fall 2024.
